NetIX, the award-winning global Internet Exchange and connectivity platform - and recently named Best Internet Exchange Provider at Capacity Media’s Global Connectivity Awards (GCAs) - today announced a new partnership with Vodafone, establishing NetIX as the partner to access Vodafone’s Greek routes.
NetIX has been chosen as the trusted partner to deliver Vodafone Greece’s connectivity to networks in the local region. From now on, access to Vodafone’s Greek network will be available via NetIX’s direct private peering or Vodafone's own Global transit solution. Existing and new peers will need to establish a contractual relationship through NetIX or Vodafone to continue exchanging traffic directly with Vodafone Greece’s network via their Autonomous System Number (ASN). This new collaboration strengthens Net-IX position in the Greek market and will be expanded to further Vodafone Operating markets to build required scale.

Through this partnership, Vodafone Carrier Services and NetIX are setting a new benchmark for managed interconnection services, combining Vodafone’s scale and reach with NetIX’s unique capabilities across its global platform of Internet Exchanges, data centers, and connected networks.
This announcement follows a milestone year for NetIX, which has been recognized by industry peers for excellence and innovation, having received both the Global Connectivity Award and the title of Best Global Internet Exchange at Carrier Community’s Global Awards in June.
