Neterra's football team finished second in IT League Spring 2026, a dedicated mini-football championship for companies in the technology sector, organized by the Bulgarian Minifootball Association (BAMF).
The league brings IT professionals from Sofia onto the pitch after working hours. Matches are played on weekday evenings at mini-football venues such as the Gorublyane complex and Greensport PZhI, with the organizers keeping detailed statistics, live scores, video coverage, and rankings.
Competing against eight teams, Neterra played 14 matches and recorded 10 wins, one draw, and three losses - a run that earned the team the silver medals.
The team's success came with individual honours, too. Rosen Pargov was named the league's Most Attractive Player, with an impressive 19 goals and 17 assists in 11 matches. Goalkeeper Stefan Yordanov stood out with 36 saves, while team coordinator Ventsislav Petrov didn't just cheer from the sidelines; he stepped onto the pitch in one of the matches and scored for Neterra.
The team featured Simeon Ivanov, Rosen Pargov, and Andrey Andreev from the Network Operations Center; Andrey Chekov and Ilcho Kyurkchiyski from Sofia Data Center; Ventsislav Petrov from Human Resources; Dean Belev and Stanislav Simeonov from Product Development; and Stefan Yordanov from Service Delivery.
Connectivity is at the heart of everything Neterra does, and on the pitch, you can see it with the naked eye - the right pass, at the right moment, for a shared win.
