Neterra's Sofia Data Center was nominated for New Data Center Award at the highly honored European Data Center Awards 2011 in London

The award ceremony will be held on June 2 in the prestigious Gibson Hall, located in the City of London.

The newly constructed Sofia Data Center received its first recognition after the nominations for European Data Center Awards were announced. The Judges of the fourth annual Data Center Awards have shortlisted the companies across nine industry categories. Neterra's data center will compete for an award in the highly competitive "New Data Center" category which will distinguish the best facility build in Europe for the past 12 months.

The award will be given to a data center that demonstrates innovation, awareness of its environmental impact and can show how the facility was developed to meet current and future needs. Not at least among the evaluation criteria is customer care and business development strategic plans.

"We are extremely honored to be nominated for such prestigious awards, gathered all the leading companies in the industry,"said Tihomir Valkov, Marketing Manager at Neterra. "In the construction of Sofia Data Center we relied on more than ten years of experience in the design, construction and management of data centers. The Awards panel has received nominations from companies all across Europe and the Judges have undertaken a rigorous review over the past three months assessing the nominations. Now we could only be proud of the achieved results," added Mr. Valkov.
