The first rafting competition for journalists took place this weekend along Struma river. The event was organized by Neterra Ltd. and X-Club and brought together more than 40 journalists from 7 national print and online media.
The competition comprised of two parts – Head-to-head (two rafts start at the same time and race for time over a short distance) and 10 km. downstream sailing for time.
9th of May turned out to be a lucky day for the brave team of “Dnevnik” Daily. They won the tournament's cup with a maximum of 500 points. Second and third place remained for Dariknews.bg and “Express” Daily with 340 and 270 points respectively.
The rafting competition was marked by lots of sun, smiles and adrenaline. Both the organizers and competitors were positive, this event should become a tradition.
