The traffic on NetIX, Neterra's subsidiary Internet exchange platform, has exceeded 3 terabits per second (Tbps), making it the 13th largest Internet exchange globally. Since the beginning of 2024, the operator has seen a 1 Tbps increase in data exchange, thanks to the addition of new major clients and the expansion of capacities by existing ones.

NetIX's growth has been positively influenced by the expansion of its parent company, Neterra, which has opened a new point of presence in Singapore. This enables customers to access Singapore directly from any point in the Neterra and NetIX network, while local Asian companies can benefit from the full range of services offered by both companies.

"We are proud to have joined the '3 Tbps club' with our global platform. This achievement underscores our commitment to providing premium connectivity and value to our members," commented Dean Belev, Senior Product Manager of Connectivity at Neterra and Vice President of Services at NetIX.

In addition to its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, Neterra has invested in new infrastructure, upgrades, and enhancements to its network since the beginning of 2024. The company introduced a new 100-gigabit (Gb) data transport route between Marseille and Milan doubled its capacity between Madrid and Frankfurt to 200 Gb, and is currently adding another 200 Gb between Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

"We invite networks to test our global internet exchange platform for free and experience its advantages," said Neven Dilkov, Founder and CEO of Neterra and its group of companies. "Through NetIX's services, they can significantly improve their performance and save substantial costs."

Joining the esteemed "3Tb club," NetIX continues to solidify its position as a key player in the Internet Exchange landscape.
