Neterra’s Amateur Radio Club`s members– LZ1NDV Nikolay Nedelev, LZ1SPB Spas Buhalov, LZ1COM Neven Dilkov, LZ1LYN Lyubomir Nenov and LZ1NUL Dimitar Gamishev took part in two international amateur radio contests during the weekend. The first competition was devoted to Day of Radio. The participants had to make biggest number and most distant radio connections with people in Bulgaria and abroad on ultra-short wave (USW). Each connection equals to a certain number of points related to the distance between the correspondents. Neterra's team participated at 150, at 430 and at 1296 megahertz.
LZ1COM Neven Dilkov and LZ1LYN Lyubomir Nenov also took part in the shortwave (SW) A.R.I. International DN Contest 2019.
Neterra's results showed that participants in the USW contest have made about 35 connections at 150 megahertz, about 10 at 430 megahertz and 4 at 1296 megahertz. The players in the SW competition have registered 11 connections. However, the results of both contests are not known yet since the connections have to be confirmed twice.
Neterra's Amateur Radio Club was founded on June 14, 2017 by radio amateurs who, in addition to loving their radio hobby, the members want to promote knowledge about technology and create friendly relationships with all people in the world.
