Neterra activates Thracia Teleport during a radio amateur contest

On November 16-17, 2019, the Neterra’s club LZ1KRN will use the annual LZDX World Amateur Contest, organized by the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs, to activate the new teleport of Neterra, located near the village of Vinogradets in the Thracian Plain.

The team will work from the place of Thracia teleport for 24 hours – from 2 pm (Eastern European Time: UTC+2) on 16.11.19 – Saturday, until 2 pm on 17.11.19 – Sunday.

The event is public and open. Everyone who is curious to learn more about amateur radio technology and Neterra's new teleport can apply and get involved. We accept participants from 3 to 99 years old.

You will be able to participate in real international competition and connect with people living thousands of kilometers from Bulgaria.

Before the competition – on November 16, 2019, from 10 am to 12 am, there will be a talk about radio amateurism and demonstration of work with a long-distance radio station in Sofia Data Center.
