The independent Bulgarian telecom Neterra is a Sofia Science Festival sponsor. The event takes place from 9 to 12 May in Sofia Tech Park. The organizer is the British Council in Bulgaria. In the Neterra`s Cosmos Hall scientists from all over the world will give exciting talks about Antarctica, the black holes, and the relativity theory. There will be a scientific stand-up comedy and fun math lessons, during which the distance from the Earth to the Moon will be measured in rice grains.
In the meantime, between the presentations, Neterra will show beautiful photos of space objects, made by Anthoniy Nedyalkov. Anthoniy works as an engineer in Neterra, and in his spare time he deals with astronomy. The photos will rotate as a slideshow on the screen in the hall.
